My pain medicine makes me nauseated.”

List of Possible Options for Solving This Problem

1) Make sure you are not constipated since this can cause nausea.
2) Take another medicine to treat the nausea.
3) Talk with your doctor about changing your pain medicine.
4) Avoid foods that are hard to digest as they can make nausea worse.
5) Try a different method to control your pain.
6) Talk to other patients.
7) Wait and see if the nausea goes away on its own.
8) Try to change the schedule of when you take your pain medicine so that you do not take it right before meals.
9) Don’t take any pain medicine.
10) Don’t eat.
